This young lady had silicone breast implants placed by another surgeon when she was 21. She always felt like they were too large for her. Over time, her right implant bottomed out and she developed a painful capsular contracture on the left. This became progressively worse over the last 4 years before she came to see me. I performed a revision surgery to release the capsular contracture on the left and reconstruct both breast folds. I removed her old silicone implants (450 cc on the right & 5 00 cc on the left) and replaced them with smaller “gummy bear” implants (385 cc on the left and 345 cc on the right).
