Breast Implant Downsize With a Lift. 3 Months Post-Op: This young athletic female had 400 cc high profile saline breast implants placed over 10 years ago. A donut mastopexy was also performed at that time by an unknown surgeon. At 5' 2", she felt these implants were too large for her petite frame. She had significant pain, back pain, and did not like the spread of her right areola (which is common when too big a lift is attempted with a donut mastopexy). She felt they were "too large and droopy". She desired a much smaller saline implant and breast lift. I removed her 400 cc saline implants and replaced them with Moderate Profile 210 cc saline implants. To improve symmetry, the right breast implant was filled with 185 cc of saline, and the left breast implant was filled with 235 cc saline. I also performed a capsulectomy and bilateral breast lift (or Mastopexy) with areola reduction.
