This otherwise healthy young man had persistent excess breast tissue (or gynecomastia) even despite significant weight loss. Here he is before and one month postop after male breast reduction surgery. Excess breast tissue was removed initially with liposuction of the chest. Firm breast gland tissue was also directly excised through a small incision placed at the edge of the areola. Scar tissue continues to improve, but he already shows a marked improvement at 1 month postop.
