From Dr. Lampert:
Bilateral Quad Blepharoplasty with fat graft to face and liposuction to bilateral lateral thighs
6 months post op
This young lady complained of looking tired before corrective upper and lower eyelid surgery. Eyelid fat herniation causes heavy looking lower eyelid bags and is often genetic. This can often occur very early in life and is frequently noted by patients to start in their 20’s. We performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty and fat grafting to the tear troughs. The fat was removed from inside the lower lid (or transconjunctival). After, the lower eyelid skin was re-draped and a small amount excised to tighten. Upper eyelid skin and fat was also excised. Fat harvested with liposuction was then used to micrograft the tear trough and blend the lower eyelid and upper cheek.
