From Dr. Lampert:
Revision Lower Eyelid Surgery
Blepharoplasty
4 months post op
This lovely and active woman had prior lower eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) and Fat Transfer with an unknown plastic surgeon 7 years ago. Unfortunately she developed lumps and worsening lower eyelid bags after. Some of the lumpiness and remaining lower eyelid bag was due to lumpy and poorly positioned thick fat grafts. There was also some remaining lower eyelid fat herniation. She said it made her "look tired". I performed revision lower eyelid surgery by removing and repositioning fat from the inside of the eyelid (transconjunctival). I also removed the old lumpy fat grafts. Additionally, I tightened the lower eyelid skin through an incision hidden under her lash line. A support suture (or canthopexy) was also placed to help preserve an attractive lower eyelid position
