This patient sustained nasal trauma during a motor vehicle accident. I performed a septo-rhinoplasty in order to improve deviation, nasal airflow, and correct displaced cartilage and bone. When considering a septoplasty, it is important to discuss any desired shape change with your plastic surgeon. It is often much harder to do a rhinoplasty as a second surgery after a prior septoplasty has been performed!
