Revision Rhinoplasty
From Dr. Lampert:
Revision Rhinoplasty with Rib Graft: this young professional had a prior rhinoplasty with an unknown surgeon. She had subsequent nasal collapse after over resection. Too much cartilage was removed, and she developed a saddle nose deformity. She had complained of nasal airway obstruction and attempted fillers with another doctor for a “liquid rhinoplasty”. Fillers did nothing to help her nasal airway, and provided only a short term fix and less significant correction. Here she is almost 7 months after a rib graft nasal reconstruction that I performed. The rib is harvested through an infra-mammary (breast) fold incision in women. This makes it usually very hard to see. A more natural dorsum and less "surgical look" was achieved with saddle nose repair. Better tip projection and refinement with less up turned naso-labial angle can be appreciated with the postoperative profile.
